Scholastic Book Wizard: Matching Students to the Right Book Levels
This Scholastic website is especially helpful for finding books at a variety of independent reading levels. Look for books at each child's grade equivalence, guided reading level, DRA level, or Lexile score. Search for related book topics. This can be a great tool to find titles in the fairy tale genre.

Cinderella by Marcia Brown
A girl is controlled by her evil stepmother and stepsisters and cannot go to the ball. A fairy godmother makes her beautiful and gets her to the ball. She loses her slipper, which brings her back together with her prince in the end.

Story Biz: Fairy Tales
Use this website to read a wonderful selection of fairy tales as short stories. Present this on an interactive whiteboard, computer, iPad, or simply print out the text! This is a good resource for somewhat challenging versions of fairy tales in alphabetical order.
